Hi everybody, I'm meteorologist Hayley Lapointe. Here's an update on your forecast. Some nasty weather through the central United States. Eventually we'll get the clouds from the system and some rain over the weekend, but not dealing with the severe aspect, thankfully. We've got some warmer air coming in along with sunshine on Friday, so that'll help to boost the temperatures into the upper 50s, even some low 60s, cooler air off the ocean on Saturday. Temperatures will struggle to get out of the low and mid-40s. Sunday, *** little bit milder. In the mid-50s, but next week overall looking below average with *** lot more chances for showers too. This active weather pattern continues on through the evening and overnight we'll see the clouds thinning out and eventually sunshine for our Friday be *** beautiful one with the temperatures in the 50s and even some low 60s in some spots. Tonight low temperatures, 30s, Laconia, Plymouth and northward, and then the southern half of the state either in the 40s or even some low 50s, so mild through the overnight. It's *** warm launching pad for what we'll get tomorrow afternoon. Few places in the low 60s like in the Merrimack Valley, Keene, likely about 60, but from the White Mountains north, *** little cooler there in the 40s for highs. This weekend, not looking very promising to see much sunshine. There will be some dry times. I think Saturday morning looks dry and then the rain develops. There could also be *** little bit of wintry mix in. Northern part of the state, but for the most part this is more of *** spring-like system with mainly rain coming through *** few scattered showers Sunday and the temperatures *** little milder. The reason that it'll feel so much cooler Saturday is the wind is coming out of the east northeast, so right off of the cooler Atlantic Ocean, just that raw feel that we sometimes get this time of year when the winds are in that direction of the water. Rain develops, moves through in the morning hours and into the afternoon on Saturday, and overnight you can make out kind of this pink color. You know, when we lose the daytime sunshine, it's cold enough in these areas to the north that we see *** little bit of *** switch over to the wintry mix, but it does not look significant. And we're back over to rain by Sunday morning with some scattered showers throughout the day on Sunday. Monday, there's *** chance of some showers too, temperatures in the 40s, even *** few rain or snow showers on Tuesday, finally drying out Wednesday and Thursday as the temperatures start to go back up.
