Mouldi Romdhani, president of the Regional Union of Agriculture and Fisheries (URAP) in Kairouan, told Tunisie Numérique that the selling price of sacrificial sheep stays dependent on several factors including climate change and the price of fodder.
These challenging conditions have pushed, according to him, several farmers to sell their herds.
In the same vein, he disclosed that the price of sacrificial sheep ranges between 600 DT and 900 DT. It can sometimes surpass a thousand dinars.
