A man has been charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol following a crash in Jamestown.
Police arrested and charged a 19-year-old man, from Dumbarton, after the incident on Main Street on Friday morning.
Emergency services arrived at the scene following reports of a crash in Jamestown at 1.20am, with three people inside the car.
Police say a male, aged 19, and a man and woman, both aged 18, escaped without serious injuries.
Inspector Roddy MacNeill sad: “A male was subsequently charged with drink-driving and released to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court at a later date.”
